“• There were 171 UHNWIs in Paraguay in 2013, with an average per capita wealth of US$40.9 million, making them a prime target group for wealth sector professionals. Of this total, there were no billionaires, 19 centimillionaires and 152 affluent millionaires.
• UHNWIs accounted for 2.9% of the total Paraguayan HNWI population in 2013, significantly higher than the global average of 0.7%. During the review period, the number of Paraguayan UHNWIs increased by 72.7%, from 99 in 2009 to 171 in 2013.
• There was a range of performance between the different UHNWI wealth bands. While the number of centimillionaires increased by 58.3%, affluents increased by 72.7%.
• WealthInsight expects the number of UHNWIs to increase by 20.7% to reach 222 in 2018. This will include no billionaires, 27 centimillionaires and 195 affluent millionaires.”
