The region registered 771 deals worth USD118.2 billion in Q2 2015, compared to 828 deals worth USD115.3 billion in Q2 2014. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the number of deals increased and deal values decreased in Q2 2015, when compared to 766 deals worth USD151.6 billion in Q1 2015.
Europe recorded an increase in the number of deals and a decrease in deal values in Q2 2015 with 381 deals worth USD63.2 billion, as compared to 342 deals worth USD130.9 billion in Q2 2014. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the number of deals and deal values decreased in Q2 2015, when compared to 395 deals worth USD64.2 billion in Q1 2015.
Asia Pacific recorded an increase in the number of deals and a decrease in deal values in Q2 2015. The region reported 277 deals worth USD22.7 billion in Q2 2015, as compared to 233 deals worth USD48.8 billion in Q2 2014. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the number of deals and deal values increased in Q2 2015, when compared to 221 deals worth USD16.3 billion in Q1 2015.
