At current, the first generation(Sanger’s Sequencing) and second-generation(Next Generation Sequencing) sequencing technology accuracy is similar, at around 99%. But the third-generation sequencing accuracy was only 80% -90%. So the second-generation(Next Generation Sequencing) sequencing has a leading role in the gene sequencing market.
