The expansion of the global tent industry is forecast to reach 1.2% p.a. in the coming years. Between 2008 and 2014 the market increased with an average annual growth of 5.7%. Currently, tents of synthetic fibres account for 75.3% of the global demand while tents of other materials have a 24.7% share of the market.
Australia, China, South Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States represent the largest tent markets while the strongest annual growth is forecast to occur in Jordan (14.2%), Philippines (12.6%), Bolivia (7.3%), Macedonia (6.0%) and Poland (5.4%).
