On year-on-year basis, the number of deals registered a decrease in number and in deal value in Q2 2015, as compared to 312 deals worth US$68.2 billion in Q2 2014.
Europe registered a decrease in the number of deals and deal value with 156 deals worth US$12.4 billion in Q2 2015, as compared to 166 deals worth US$43.3 billion in Q1 2015. On year-on-year basis, the number of deals and deal value registered a decrease Q2 2015, as compared to 213 deals worth US$48.8 billion in Q2 2014.
Asia-Pacific registered an increase in the number of deals and deal value with 173 deals worth US$39.9 billion in Q2 2015, as compared to 154 deals worth US$24.8 billion in Q1 2015. On year-on-year basis, the number of deals registered a decrease in the number of deals and deal value in Q2 2015, as compared to 175 deals worth US$39.4 billion in Q2 2014.
