42 IPOs for VC-Backed TMT Companies in the first half year of 2015 in China, totally amount to $3.6 billion
Along the revolution of simplified the IPO procedures in China this year, Chinese security market was dynamic in the last quarters, the number of TMT IPO reached new the level, during the last quarters, total of 42 IPOs for VC-Backed TMT Companies, totally funded $3.6 billion.
However, this trend may not continue in the next half year, since the fierce turbulence happened to the A-share, Chinese government has suspended their new IPO progress, which obviously will decrease the new IPOs.
According to data released, during the last quarters, with total of 25 IPOs in Shenzhen Growth Enterprises Market that it exceeded $1.6 billion, account to 46%. Since Chinese security market was dynamic in the last quarters, only 3 VC-Backed TMT Companies chose to IPO in foreign market, with the funding of totally amount $212 million.
“From a long term view, more VC-Backed TMT Companies will choose to IPO at home, especially with the in-depth revolution of IPO registration and completed multilayer capital market progressively.” A senior Chinese government officer said.
