“On 18 Oct., 2015, ICAMA together with 8 agrochemical enterprises held an opening conference on the topic of “Strategical Implementation and Application of Zero Growth in Use of Pesticides” in Beijing. The government is aiming to achieve the goal of zero growth of pesticide usage by 2020.

According to directors from the ICAMA, the market of minor crops has huge room for development in China. There is a huge shortage of registered pesticides for minor crops, and therefore pesticides for minor crops have huge market potential as well as great profit margins.

According to the ICAMA, in Sept. 2015, a total of 5 fungicide technical (including 4 active ingredients) were registered in China.

ICAMA stated that there are still many shortcomings in the registered pesticide varieties for preventing and controlling diseases and pests of tea trees. Pesticide enterprises should put great effort into R&D into pesticides for tee trees.

According to China Customs and CCM, China’s export volume of azoxystrobin technical recorded sharp YoY growth of 77.02% in Jan.-Aug. 2015; also, it grew by 28.60% over full-year figure of 2014.

On 14 Oct., 2015, the NATESC issued the latest dynamics of main pests and diseases of late rice in China, which occurs moderately to heavily.
