Fermenters are fermentation processes to manufacture pharmaceuticals drugs. The fermentation process includes the bacteria growth and drugs production. This process is carried out in a tight regulation considering the factors such as aeration rate, dosage of nutrients and temperature control. Fermenters are equipment which supports the cell culture at a large scale and are maintained at certain environmental parameters. The Fermenters are of two types namely disposable and non-disposable. Disposable fermenters are used for only once whereas non-disposable fermenters are used multiple times. Non-disposable fermenters require sterilization with chemicals before using them again. Non disposable fermenters are bigger in size and are used in big industries for drugs and other fermentation products production.
Rise in geriatric population has increased the demand for various drugs worldwide resulting in the rise in manufacturing output of the drugs required for treatment. This is estimated to drive the growth of fermenters market. Rise in infectious diseases affecting large population is also estimated to drive the growth. Increase in disposable income coupled with awareness about various diseases amongst population is also a key driver. However, the growth of this market is estimated to be restrained owing to lack of technological improvements in manufacturing processes.

Geographically, North America is estimated to be the largest market owing to a large pool of patients followed by Europe. It is estimated that Asia-Pacific will witness the highest growth owing to increasing awareness and disposable during the forecast period.
